As a QA Intern, you will work closely with the QA team to test software applications, identify bugs, and assist in improving the overall quality of the product. You will have hands-on experience in executing test cases, documenting issues, and working with developers to resolve them. This role is an excellent opportunity to learn industry best practices and develop technical skills in software testing.

  • Assist in the development and execution of test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Perform manual and automated testing to ensure software functions as expected.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure Board).
  • Collaborate with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Help prepare test reports, summarize test results, and provide feedback on product quality.
  • Conduct regression testing to verify that software changes do not affect existing functionality.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions around improving testing processes.
  • Perform performance and load testing using tools like Apache JMeter (if applicable).
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
  • Familiarity with testing tools (e.g., Postman, JMeter) and bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing technologies.
  • Previous experience in testing (academic projects or internships) is a plus but not required.
